About CalcHeadquarters

Free, accurate tools for the everyday numbers that matter — and the plain-language explanations behind them.

Our mission

CalcHeadquarters exists to answer the small but consequential math questions that come up in everyday life — how much house you can afford, how much protein to eat, what an hourly wage works out to per year — quickly, accurately, and without a sign-up or paywall. Every tool on the site is free to use, works instantly in your browser, and respects your time.

What we offer

The site is organized into four areas: Finance (loans, savings, mortgages, taxes, retirement), Business (margins, pricing, freelancing), Career (salary, raises, take-home pay), and Fitness (calories, macros, training). Alongside the calculators, our Guides explain how each number is calculated and what it means for real decisions, with worked examples you can follow.

How we build for accuracy

We implement established, documented formulas, verify each calculator's math against known inputs before it goes live, and cite primary sources — government agencies, standards bodies, and peer-reviewed research — directly on the page. Our full process is described in our editorial policy and methodology.

Who is behind CalcHeadquarters

CalcHeadquarters is produced by Chase Bennett, a small independent group of builders and researchers who design the tools, write the explanations, and review the math. We are not affiliated with any bank, lender, brokerage, or medical provider, and our calculators are informational tools — not financial, tax, legal, or medical advice. For decisions that matter, please confirm the numbers with a qualified professional.
